Can't find how to lift the seat - CB650
« on: December 28, 2006, 04:05:00 PM »
Ok, stop laughing, I mean it stop laughing...

I've just bought a 1984/5 CB650 nighthawk, (yes I know it's a DOHC, but this is my website.....).

The guy round the corner, is emigrating to OZ and decided to sell his 1984/5 NightHawk, 300 squids, I thought it was a bargin.

Thing is  I can't find the battery, yes it has one the lights come on when you turn the key.

So are there any NightHawk owners, that could tell me how to get to the battery, so I can charge it.

Apparently, the seat does not come off; you get at the battery via the side panels.

Thanks Jim, left hand side, I didn't want to go pulling panels off in case I broke one. In there now.
