Part number cross ref
« on: June 13, 2016, 08:03:47 AM »
I am in need of some HELP, trying to cross reference a part number and keeps coming up blank.
It is a handle bar weight with part number 53105-KT7-010  (superseded) . I know that Honda never made a part just for one model ( well, maybe a few) so, if anyone can come up with a model list on this part would be a great help.

Hi,
Have you got one as a pattern?  If you don't locate one it doesn't look too difficult a shape, I can make one in mild steel or possibly stainless for you.  A simple drawing with dimensions and possibly a template of the curved end would suffice.

Not sure what that finish is but I'm sure Ash or someone will know,
Ian

Thank you for the kind offer but, these weigh one hundred and twenty five grams. Because the handle bars are rubber mounted the weights cut down any vibration.
I can't believe that these only fit one other bike which is not sold in the UK.

So what material would you think they were made from?

I am not sure, it is heavy for such a small part.
