Hi, this may sound thick but how does one stop being a lurker and become a full member? I've looked all over the site and seem to be blind in the ability to find the link!

As I understand it, a lurker is somone who signs on with a user name etc but has not made a post. As you've made a post enquiring about it, you're no longer a Lurker.  Having got over that minor hurdle,  why not introduce yourself,  what bike(s) do you own, where you ride to that sort of thing.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?

Hi Hindi, and welcome, just noticed you've been a lurker for 3 years, this may actually be a record, Steve will be able to tell us! Anyway, as you have been around a while you know we're a friendly bunch, many of us are mad or rapidly getting there, but we love photos of people's bikes and projects. I seem to recall that after 10 posts you become a member as opposed to a newbie, so get posting, ask any question, someone will know the answer!

It took 3 years to get her indoors to let me get a bike to rebuild.

So what is your bike? U.K. or import? Where did you buy it?

It's a CB 500/4 k1 American import with a 550 motor (soon to be 600) obtained from Ireland via that site that does auctions. Came in full Dunstall trim now gone via the same site. (Too old now for all that bum in air stuff).
