Crankcase dowels
« on: September 07, 2016, 03:26:57 PM »
Hi everyone

Just got crankcases back from soda blaster ( very good job he has done too) only problem is I didn't take any dowels out of the seal housings. There are 2 dowels left in, has anyone any idea how many there should be please. Advice gratefully received.

I'd start with the Parts List in Ashimoto's Dropbox (http://www.sohc.co.uk/index.php/topic,8884.0.html).
That lists the size and quantity of the various dowels used so you can check you have the right number (or not ....).

I had assumed 400 (for no real reason at all!) but the 350 Parts List is there as well.
