Pass Switch..

I have a '77 model and my friend has a '79 model - his has a "pass" switch on his left side controls but mine doesn't. Did Honda change these between the F and F2 models, or has one of us got a replacement fitting?

It could be either as both types fit

So there wasn't a standard fitting for either model?

It probably changed at a chassis number but the part would have been superseded to the later one EXCEPT for all the stockists that had the old one in stock so either one could have had a replacement  and i have no idea when the change came

A friend's R reg didn't have this .... None of the other earlier reds or blues did as I recall.
My 1978  T plate , yellow "F2", had the pass switch. Very sophisticated !
I thought that bike was one of the last available... got it in Sept of that year.
Certainly one of the last any dealer had in Berkshire.

Mine is a September 78 'T' registered also and has the switch
