Front brake woes

Little or no resistance in the lever. Caliper been rebuilt and the master cylinder redone too. Bled etc but not working properly

when you say no resistance,do you mean it come to the bar with nothing happening? or its just very spongy,or soft.

you could try a reverse  purge, take the pads out, pump the brake untill the piston is almost out, then carefully use a G clamp to
push the piston back,it may flush any air out of the master cylinder,

good luck, and be careful of the brake fluid,it kills paintwork

Tape the lever up to the grip and leave it for a couple of days.

Two things

bleed just the master first, i have put up a description on here before

With no front guard you need a fork brace or the forks will flex all over the place and handling will be crap

Oh really I didn't realise that tbh. I'll look into one. Can one be bought or does it have to be made?

Either.  There's 1690 to choose from on ebay.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?

If you have an old tatty mudguard you can remove the centre brace and use that to mount your "sporty" guard, you have to have some sort of mudguard to pass MOT
