2 brake or not 2 brake...
« on: August 06, 2005, 05:02:25 AM »
I am a Newbee and excited to be.
I just bought a 1976 CB750K.  I was wondering how I can get a hold of and install a right side second rotor and caliper up front.  My brake up front is a little too soft.  I seem to have the mounts on the fork casings.
Who has ideas on how I can accomplish this and what I need to do.
Thanks

The F2 came fitted as standard with a twin front disc brake setup, and the wheels were comstar mags, I've seem an F1 with a twin disc setup, the owner had use an F2 forks but I can't remember if the wheel was spoked or not

I found most of CB forks can be swapped if diam is ok you might have to space calipers if you are really going to mix and match.I have tried most in past to get me going when CB750 was my only transport even superdream gear.

Thank you for the Article.  I was able to find another article that was written around 1980 about a guy at North Hollywood Honda in California.
