Sammy Miller Museum
« on: October 13, 2016, 09:01:38 PM »
We were B & B'ing near New Milton, Hampshire last week and surprisingly, SWMBO offered little resistance to visiting the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum. Brilliant place and some splendiferous machines to see.

We last went about 10 years ago, but I had forgotten just how good it is so just wanted to remind you good folk on the sohc Forum that is is well worth the effort to go and visit.

There aren't many Hondas TBH but there are a couple of Honda Race Bikes which had me drooling. You can check out the Website to see what a great collection they have.

We thought that the £7.50 Entrance Fee was good value, and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
Now: 2008 CB1300S, CB750K4, 1970 Bonneville. Various other 1960's 650 Triumph T120's/ TR6's/ TR6C's (all in bits...many, many bits unfortunately). Previous: 2007 CB600FA, 1976 CB500 Four. BMW F800ST. GS750E. ZZR1100. CB1300 (2). ZXR1200S. VFR800. CB750 Nighthawk. CX500. XS500 Yam. Suzuki GT500. BSA A10. Various Lambrettas. Zundapp Bella (honest).

last year it co -insided with a VJMC show ,and all sohc bikes got it to the center area, this was a mid june event,

we also fancied going to the David Silver museum,at present this is only open monday to saturday, and being almost the most easterly
bike museum in the land !!   some distance away,so staying over night is needed
