Carb float chamber screws
« on: November 05, 2016, 11:59:09 AM »
Ok so it seems that on my carbs the screws on two of the float chambers have had the threads stripped. Any clever ideas on how to sort this out so it wont leak fuel?

Not wishing to sound pedantic or anything but it's more likely that the female threads are stripped in the carb bodies, rather than the screws.   In which case,  I would suggest an M4 helicoil kit, like this one...

Where's that 10mm socket got to?
