Anyone know if you can re-chrome the fork tubes, if, who does it?

G'Dayt, Herby, Fork tubes can be restored by hardchrome plating, as long as they are not to badly damaged. I once worked at an engineering shop that did restorations on all types of hydraulic rods, which includes forks. I can tell you where to get them done down here,  but I dont think it will be any use to you as I am downunder  :silly:  Look in your phone book under electroplaters and take it from there  ;)
  Cheers Paul

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the reply, have now found somewhere. For info to u.k members,  \"pittedforks.co.uk\". Has  been recommended for their quality, also the price is competitive.
