Does this person actually wish to sell, just one crappy picture and a single sentence, could put some effort into it.

I agree about the crap ad, but even with just one photo you can start spotting stuff - missing reflector and grab rail, gearbox sprocket cover is broken and half missing (chain damage to cases?) rev counter cover hanging loose...

Edit: Pillion foot rest replaced by a bolt to hold the pipes on. Headlamp rim not attached to body, something wrong with clutch lever pivot bolt, way too long or just put there for photo. I'd better stop looking and go and do some work.....  ;)

You can see why he only put one photo up - show us the other side to have a pick at!

I didn't know there were Japanese market seats for the, er, shorter rider, Julie, I just assumed the foam had collapsed over time.

Seriously, I'd want to know more about why the top half of the sprocket cover is missing for a start.

You could always do what James did re the 'Cosworth' 550 i.e. contact the owner.
In this case you could comment on the lack of detail and pictures in the listing and ask if he could add some more, maybe suggesting that there appear to be some items requiring completion and could he list any known outstanding issues.
It may not do any good but if he wants to sell it shouldn't be a difficult task for him.

I Have contacted the seller about the bike and he mentioned it needs a little more work .

Regarding the sprocket cover it seems like it is not installed and not half of it not there . If you zoom on the pic you do not see any half cover installed from that angle.

It seems that some parts were fixed on quickly  to be able to take pics.

Apropos seat, MrDavo, do you need one for your K1 instead of that odd looking one on your bike?

Actually I'm selling one:

https://m.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/honda-cb750-four-k1-sitzbank/558207583-306-8441

Have a  spare K1 seat pan as well.
cheers, Uli

I did contact the seller last night asking all the usual, 1st date reg in UK, VIN & engine no etc plus a few other questions but, he has not even had the courtesy, or balls, to get back to me. What a time waster I really do hate time wasters, they really do my head in  >:( >:( >:(
