Another new old one
« on: December 22, 2016, 06:28:39 PM »
Well after being driven mad by suppliers sending faulty parts or incorrect quantities of parts the winter hack is finally on the road!, one previous owner and off the road for the last 10 years she breathes again, bright pink and ugly but somehow I love it 😄, 130bhp but 600lb wet means its swift but not scary fast, very smooth and comfortable, I might even restore it a bit rather than just use it as a hack, anyway get your sunglasses on 😎 , here she is!.
PS handles well, check out the chicken strips on the photo 😄

I bought it sight unseen on eBay, on the photos it looked red!, oh well it'll blend in better when my pink leathers arrive 😁

Seriously though what were honda thinking!, the MOT tester suggested I write "Barbie" on the side in white scroll font, everybody's  a comedian eh!.

I loved that Honda pink so much I bought a new CBR600 in Beneton colours, just because I liked the wheels. I bought a Yoshimura pipe for it and the shop I bought it from tried to tone it down by adding all the white pin stripes!!!. It was the first of 5 new CBR600's I had. Blow me down, that was nearly 26 years ago !!!
