Valve guide clips

Wonder if anyone can help when I had new valve guides fitted Had bronze ones fitted does anyone know if the clips in the picture should still have been used number 5 in picture . [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

[ Guests cannot view attachments ] these are the guides I used  and does any one know what those clips are for

They are basically to limit the depth when driven into the head.

So there not to hold them in place
