Wiring help

Hi....would someone please advise me on some connections. Honestly, I've googled and YouTubed for hours...it just confuses me more.

Regulator rectifier first.

I get the 3 yellow wires...ac current feed.

My reg has a green and a red.
And a black and a white.

My standard plug from the stator has the 3 yellow.
Plus  2 green
1 white
1 blue/ purple

The plug goes to the stator and the two lose wires go to two out of the three that went to the old regulator with an earth wire left over.

The plug doesn't fit....it's different...plus  mine is all broken so my plan is to connect the wires directly.

I can't find a diagram for dummies that says to connect a to b....with my colours.
Any help appreciated...
