Coming along nicely.
A fork brace is apparently a good plan if you are not going to fit a front mudguard.
(I know you sold the original, don't know if any sort of replacement is planned).

Surprisingly for me, I really like it, especially the black wheels. Great work updating. Maybe even more black parts. Reminds me of the "limited edition" Kawasaki W800 they were selling recently. Considered one but then bought another old Honda. What colour tank? As that will dominate.

Thanks for the positive comments gents.
Working on the wiring now using a motogadget m unit.
Wheels are new rims. 2.15s. Powder coated with stainless spokes.
Hubs were blasted and powder coated. All new bearings.

Not planning on fitting mudguards....but might consider a tiny one on the front to give some bracing.

I like the idea of two discs....is it exactly the same setup that I need to look for.?

I have two tanks.....original one is going to be stripped back and polished bare steel. Will have the other painted when funds allow.

Tried to fire it up today with no exhaust headers....but couldn't get fuel to the cylinders ?

You also need longer bolts for the disks - I think gl1000 off the top of my head. Most folk seem to also reccomend a master cylinder with bigger bore.
Got a 500/4 with rust and a sidecar and loadsa bits. nice and original and been round the clock

You need another caliper, disc and some minor modding skills on the speedo drive. There are lots of posts on the subject.
