PD46 carb question .... where does this bit go..

Help please. I'm just putting the carbs back together in accordance with Brian Barnes' excellent guide, and I've got carbs 1 & 2 mounted.. I thought I'd taken photos from every conceivable angle to leave nothing unrecorded, but I have a piece of plastic that I can't find a home for and which doesn't appear in Brian's work or on any exploded view that I can find. Judging by the diameter of the hole, it goes somewhere on the throttle shaft, so before I go any further could someone please tell me exactly where and facing which way?

Something to do with the choke mech spring?

Ashdowner it goes on the throttle shaft on carb 2 (the one with the non adjustable slide). Hope you can see it in the pic, it sits between the brass that is screwed to the throttle shaft and barb body as a sort of bearing surface. (horrible job)

Thanks Seabeowner. I actually finally found it on one of my photos but thanks for your reply. Got the carbs together apart from everything in the bowls. First set of shiny clean carbs I've ever had
