CB 750 F2 Tank 1978

Quick question please? Are the tanks from a 1975 Supersports the same as on the 1978 F2? Will the 1975 fit the 1978? If there are differences then what are they please? Cheers.

To look at, yes they're the same, they both fit, the only difference being the F1 has a larger diameter thread for the fuel tap than the F2, so you obviously need the tap to match. F2 taps seem cheaper!

My F1 went the other way, I bought an F2 tank and seat for it after the original tank leaked, fit is no problem but as stated the fuel tap is different.
