Cheapo Rotor Puller ...possibly?
« on: April 21, 2017, 08:22:59 AM »
Just bought one of these... hopefully to use as a rotor puller (M16x1.5 metric fine ) on smaller bikes (not 750!)  ...worth a punt for £1.90 with free  Next Day delivery !

I will just have the end face machined flat and the first couple of threads machined off. May not be hard enough ..  dunno

Should be hard enough, it's a wheel stud, just don't take too much off the end face.

Works fine for me. Used this 4 times. I've always had to bang on the end (after heating the rotor) with an ali mallet to shift them. The end is turned down to just under 10.5mm for a couple of mm.
