can anybody give me the name of a company that can recover my seat to the original specification, I have a decent seat just needs recovering and a new strap, cheers Alan

The original seat cover can't be replicated with the thick plastic/chrome rand which fits over the edge of the seat base. Only seat covers. You can get replacement covers which have plain vinyl edges which you have to glue or clip down & then fit a chrome effect trim over

The rubber/chrome edging that Bob uses is pretty close to the original. I have an original and one with Bob's edging and you have to look close to tell them apart. It uses the original clips on the underside of the seat, so hope yours are ok and can stand being bent.
