Cb 750 K1

After rebuilding the top end on my 72 K1 with 341 exhausts I now find that when cruising at 60 to 70 the engine is 'hunting' give it a touch more throttle and everything is ok until cruising again. Plug colour is good after a plug chop so wondering if I need to put larger pilot jets in ( currently std). Has any of our experts any comments please?

Probably more likely that it isn't run in properly yet, and possibly carb balance as well (top end rebuild will alter vacuum pressures) Give it at least 500 miles to run in, then do all other service items ( oil, tappets, timing) then balance the carbs, always the last job!

If it's got tits or wheels, it's hassle, if it's got both, RUN!!!
