Clear VHT paint
« on: May 13, 2017, 09:05:52 AM »
Hi All,

My F2's engine is basically disassemble now. I've now started to strip off the old black paint off the the engine casing and was wondering what I should use the repaint the casing with. I was thinking about keeping it looking unpainted by using something like Clear VHT paint? Is this any good, or could you suggest something better?

That is a bit pricey, the main importer is USAutomotive  >>http://www.usautomotive.co.uk/catalog/advancedsmartsearch.aspx?searchedtext=vht&exact=True

Never tried it directly to alloy, have used it to coat flameproof paint.
