Clutch Plates
« on: May 14, 2017, 08:51:06 PM »
Hopefully someone can throw some light on this topic? have just started re-assembling engine, have got as far as putting clutch together and made a very school boy error!! failed to take notice on which way round the clutch plates went? the clutch plates have one side which seems rounded off on the edges and the opposite side is quite square and sharp edges, which way do they go into the clutch basket?

Regards
Simon

I think you are referring to the way they're stamped out - like washers.  If that is so then it doesn't matter which way they go in.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?
