cam anyone confirm this is a 400 chain guard..
Looks like one to me.

Looks like a CB 400 but could also be a CB550, difficult to tell from photo

I know they look real similar....anyone know any definate difference between them...i guess it's down to measurements..?

This is a genuine 400f one, it has a raised portion just below just below where the it slips under the shock absorber mounting. The raised portion has a small hole in it and the purpose of that is to hold the chain when removing the wheel by sticking a pin though it. At least that's what I thought it was for!

Jason, Yours looks like the one on my US 550F. I have a replacement label on mine and top right its marked CB550. Presume yours is indecipherable. (it's not underlined so spelled it correct first time!)

Ok I think it is a 550 one although it is the same length as your 400 one kent
There are no holes other that the 2 mounting holes...
And yes sticker is damaged right where it looks like the big reveal should be

Yes, 19" front is 550.

400 Four chain guard has a "little back plug" on it...........
