Oil tank getting hot..

Good day,  i am trying to understand if it is normal for the oil tank getting hot after a few miles ride.

I have no plastic cover.. should i get one?

Yep, entirely normal and with a good run it'll get to about 90degrees as that's what the oil will run at, ish.

 ;) yes its normal no worries ,and get a cover you wont notice the heat

  its good to get the oil and engine hot,it removes moisture and condensation caused by short runs .

 I always try to ride at least 10 miles each ride,and many more at times !!

Thanks, i am planning to either get a plastic cover or create some sort of shield..
