Hope you're having a good weekend. Can anyone identify the side panels in the picture? and if so where could I get some?

  They sure look like them. Try L.P.M. for good quality repro ones, about £30 each, often they advertise on e-bay as well.

A 550F panel doesn't fit a 500 four frame ;)

According to the http://www.sohc4.net/cb550-faq/

the left sides fit all years but the right side differs on one mounting. Maybe it won't be too difficult to modify

Never believe everything you read ! Bottom left mount needs to come out 10mm. Top right front mount needs rotating 90 and the bottom mount needs to come up by about 25mm and out by 10mm.
Don't ask how I know this  ;D
