My CB550K3 has electronic ignition, DR7ES plugs, but also has 5ohm resistor plug caps?
Always causes discussion this subject. A Delta hinted, different markets (especially earlier models) sported different combinations caps and plugs. Possibly because of regs about RFI. And DSS among others sells DR7ES for all 500/550s I think. (just below the 5k caps). Techis get into length of spark duration/ fuel consumption, starting, plug fouling and the like. The subject always comes up when ignition probs are suspected.I've used both R caps with and without R plugs and never had a problem. (with electronic ignition and original). But if D7ES are cheaper, get em.
I always thought my 400 was just old and tired but since i started using non resister plugs, its now purring like a kitten. Thanks Trigg
I would load a video of it but can never figure out how😫😫

Don't see many hot plugs about these days.
