I am keen to watch this thread!!Out of interest would you only strip if there was an issue.. my 76 has done 31k, runs fine, no smoke, no rattles and revs and pulls nicely. I see so many people doing refurbs that strip the engine.As I have no issues I'm tempted to give the 400 a good service, lick of fresh paint , and a full tune up and get some miles on her... and see how she does. Would most agree this is the best policy?
