cb 750 k2 breather pipes

hello
could anybody help me sort out a problem on my mates 750 k2,he is having problems working out which breather pipe connects to what,the tank has two outlets,engine has rocker cover breather outlet,gearbox outlet,also the small canister has three outlets,so if someone can tell us which connects to what it would be of great help.

Hi Dave,
             Are you sure that it is a K2 (approx 1972), on the K2 if my memory serves me right the breather tube from the cam cover is routed to the ground over the air filter box, on the oil tank the top connection is routed to the ground and the bottom connection is connected to the transmission.
Later bikes had a small pot on the breather line from the cam cover, the connection on the top of the  pot was directed to the top of the air filter and the bottom connection to the ground, inside the pot was a spring and a filter, so that all the nasty emmission were burnt by the engine and not released to atmosphere.

Thanks for the reply, his bike is a 1973 k2,it is fitted with the breather pot,there seems very little info (diagrams etc) on fitting breather pipes in the manuals. so any info is of help.

Hi den thanks for that you are a hero,looks like a lovely rebuild you have going on,i am going to start a restoration on my 78 f2 in the winter,main job is to tackle the head.as it smokes on start up.
