fork advice please

just a question as to whether the forks & yokes/trees from a 1980's dohc will fit into my 78 f2 frame. have looked through other posts and see they have been used but need to know if any alterations were made or do they just fit straight in.. cheers Terry

Yes, when we bought the doner bike to build the CR, it had a CB900 front end.

Yes, it will drop in like a............ in a..............! My Turbo project bike has a 750 DOHC fork in it.

Thanks for the info people. saves me forking  :-\ out for a new front end for my chop project. i have 3 spare dohc front ends. my sohc is majorly becoming a dohc chasis as i have already narrowed and fitted a dohc swingarm. cheers again.. Terry
