550 big bore kit for 650

can someone help me please...looking for a big bore kit for a 79 cb650z...been told that the big bore kit from the 550 will fit into the 650...also that a high lift cam will fit in but have to use 650 cam gear ie cam shaft sprocket and hy vo chain....if any tuners or guys who have done this give me a shout...or put me in contact with any knowledgeable people....cheers

I've never seen a big bore kit above 605 for the 500/550.

No doubt our American cousins (in the other place) will have something to say. Even if it is off-track and ends up as a discussion on big block V8s...

thats where i saw the discussion on big bore kits...but here in the uk were more "real world"...is there anyway of getting a bit more zip out of this engine? (650 that is)
