Kreem disaster... what am I going to do?

My CL450 tank is bare metal inside, as it came out of the acid bath before Menno painted it.

As it will be a while before the bike is ready for use, should I store it with petrol, or something else in it? I’m worried about rust.

I used a dollop of old 2 stroke oil in mine. I figured it should keep surface rust at bay and at least burn. Might be a smokey start up when the time comes.....

I used Redex kept the rust away, rinsed it out before use and any left just burns away  :D
