Hello.
Has anyone on here got a Box section swing arm. To fit a 750k1. That they would like to sell?
Regards.
Sean.

Carefull with those there are a lot out there that use the long bolt as a pivot instead of fitting a bearing collar

Hello Bryan.
That's interesting. Thanks for the tip.
I'm not holding much hope of finding one. But if one turned up. It may look the part on what I'm building.
Sean.

I have a 500 one and i think i can bore/ream the alloy inserts in the pivot to fit the proper collar but that is a future project to go with the 605, webcam 58A, and stage 2 head--------should be fun!!!!

You could try Dave Degans at Dresda Autos in Rusper. He used to make his own box section arms for a number of bikes. I have one fitted to my Triton but I know he also made them for Honda's so is likely to still have the pattern.

He was still making them last time I was down there.

Made to order though and not cheap.

Not cheap but very popular back in the day for sure

One of the most common Dresda bits to sell back then.

I didn't know he was still at it.
Every credit to him.
The Dresda arms were the nicest of the lot i think.
I thought the Davida ones were not so good.
I just thought I would ask on here, cos if there was one to be had. It would be here.
I don't desperately need a box section swing arm.
But I'm building a K1 as it could have been done in the 70's
Using only custom parts of the period.
It would appear I have inadvertently built  Japauto replica.
As seen in another recent thread. Only in blue/green.
Not bad concidering it was a Chopper when I bought the bike.

Hi. I have one that came on my bike along with the original. I have reverted to the standard so the box section one is now spare.  Mine is a K0 but as far as I'm aware there was no change on a K1 swinging arm. PM me for details. John.

I would love to post Pics.
But I am a real Dimmock with all things IT.
I haven't a clue how to do it.
I suppose I should borrow a small child to show me how.

Sean, here's a pic of my early K RC box section arm fitted to an Automatic frame.
I'm only posting it to check out how easy it is and then maybe I can talk you through it.
