The carbs are 087A ,so would that make any difference as Deltarider says they are K2 will the adjustment be the same .
Why the K2 got a different carb number - 087A instead of 022A - is still a mystery to be solved. Studying the various CB500/550 parts list some years ago and this one in particular: page C10 in
http://www.honda4fun.com/pdf_parts_list/pdf_spac550/CB550-K0-K1-K2/CB550-K0-K1-K2_04.pdf, I detected
one difference that would explain the new carb number: in stead of airscrew pn 16016-323-004 that we know of the CB550 and CB550K1, the parts list mentions for the CB550K
2 an airscrew pn 16016-390-004. Ha, that must be it! I thought. BTW, it's the airscrew with a solid tip and
not cross drilled that we know of the CB550
F models. But... sofar not one owner of 087A carbs has reported, when asked, that he indeed had that airscrew. They all had the old airscrew, with open tip and crossdrilled. Strange. Anyway, since then I have made it a habbit to ask every owner of 087A carbs what type airscrew
he has and that now includes you. Please unscrew, after noting what position the airscrew is set at ofcourse, what type of airscrew
you have. Mind the little spring! In the pics below airscrew 16016-323-004
and 16016-390-004.
