Longer ride on it today and it goes quite well although leaks fuel from the overflow pipes. At 3900 rpm it’s doing 50 mph,is that right?

Any engineers out there?

Yeh, I made a bit of a dog's dinner of that Steve.

Used the quote button on Julie's post and then deleted the text above the bit I wanted,  checked it with preview and it showed like it's now displayed,  but thought it would post correctly a bit like it doesn't show photos in preview.

Where have I gone wrong  :)

The trick is to watch the contents of the square brackets.
I’ll use () here or the system will display as a quote …

(QUOTE) starts the quote
(/QUOTE) ends the quote

Anything different is what we (in the trade) would call a syntax error.

If you delete the end quote, it takes everything you write and includes it in the quote box.

If you delete the start quote it just puts everything you write in as text.

Here endeth the coding lesson.

Think I got it.

Edited original so it now displays as quote. :D

I worked more in algorithms,  some hexadecimal editing amongst other stuff in obscure systems.  So a bit unfamiliar with this.

It’s called Bulletin Board Code (BBC) and it’s like a cut down version of html (the language that most websites are based upon)

Anoraks can look it up and see what else you can do.
