front wheel rim, pattern or original?

can some one explain to me the difference in the rims on ds site

pattern 41 pounds  d.i.d.
original 59 pounds

are the original ones better quality i would presume ?

Not really sure Mike but also have a look on the Hagon site.

I got my rear rim and spokes from them.

Whole job including re-lacing was

"Pattern" parts were always cheaper because they didn't have the Honda "seal of approval" with the corporate guarantees that that suggests. The Honda name on the packaging added
