« on: October 19, 2008, 05:44:16 PM »
HELLOI HAVE JUST PURCHACED A PAIR OF AVON ROADRIDER TYRES MARKED TUBELESS,FOR MY CB750 K6.
ARE THESE OK TO FIT TO MY K6 WITH INNER TUBES,SHOULD THE TYRE PRESSURES BE ALTERED,AS THEY ARE TUBELESS,OR STICK TO STANDARD PRESSURES,
THANKS
DAVE.

I may be wrong but I think the profile of tubeless tyres and rims is different to that of tubed tyres and rims and they may not be interchangeable.

Might be worth checking up though.

I think tubless tyres with tubes is ok but check the speed rating as the effective speed rating goes down by one band due to heat build up betwwen tube and tyre. Also they are more likely to overheat if tyres are underinflated I've heard.
Got a 500/4 with rust and a sidecar and loadsa bits. nice and original and been round the clock
