Seat Covers
« on: December 13, 2008, 12:07:37 PM »
I have been looking for a seat for my '72 500/4 for years. Sometimes they come up on eBay.com but the shipping nowadays is stupid.

I've just noticed that there's an eBay.co.uk seller who has started selling covers for the early (large squares) seats.

I fancy a punt at

I've re-covered a couple of seats including the one that's on my 550 and it's really easy.

The biggest problem with the Honda was that there's some rusting of the seat base so some of the hooks were a bit brittle.

My Suzuki 400 had a plastic seat base and I stapled the cover on. Looked great too.

I've never seen an early seat cover on DS Bryan.
