That looks absolutely amazing, I could wander around there with my jaw dropped for hours, shame it's a bit too far for me these days, though me and my riding partner have thought about riding down in stages and staying overnight.

Cheers

It was great to meet many friends and put faces to names.

Photos to be added. (Not by me)
And after the cake. I went to the seaside

Great to meet some sohc folk today. These two 1964 CB92 Benlys in bits were snapped up by a guy from Sweden for £2k ... really nice 400 exhaust system for £160 pattern silencer but genuine downpipes in nice condition.

I saw that.

I wondered why anyone would pay more than £20 for a pile of rusty bits.

Clearly, I have a lot to learn about early CB values.

Those bits were probably worth double what he was asking . Sadly the CB92 vultures think they are sitting on gold dust. The tank alone was worth £500

Apologies to all I was not able to stay for the 2.30 photo, alas the group I was with had to return at short notice. However it was great to meet you all and put faces to all. Hope you all had a safe journey home, I feel battered and bruised with the the high winds on the A14.

Cheers,
Greg

Sounds like you all had a great day. Was the cake cut & shared?
I must get down there again soon as my previous visit was limited to 3 hours.
It is nice to meet up with the forum members and put faces to names (and avatars!).
