I'm new to this forum, I didn't even know it was here until SteveD from

I live in the north of Scotland where I have been for 5 years before that i lived in the north east of England.
I acquired a 1977 Honda CB550 over a year ago which was imported from Japan and so has never been registered in the Uk. It was mostly all there but is missing a front brake caliper, exhaust, master cylinder and the 4 finned collars which clamp the exhaust into the cylinder heads. The bike has been sat in my garage since I acquired it but now I have began work on converting it into a cafe racer. It's probably going to take me a long while but I will keep on plugging away.
