Removing outer gearbox cover
« on: August 02, 2019, 07:55:13 PM »
Forgive me if this is a stupid question but I understand the gearbox on a cb750F1 uses the same oil as the engine, being used to gearboxes with there own supply of oil. If I remove the outer gearbox cover will the total supply of oil be drained or just what is present in the gearbox?

Unless its sumping, ie oil not returning to the tank, no, it will be quite dry.
