Bludy Beer
« on: August 22, 2019, 10:20:52 PM »
In my semi retired not working Friday working week, Thursday night is my Friday night - when my (non bike interested) wife and I go to my local for a few pints. 4 Pints later, I've just bought a CB500Four K1 from DK! My wife encouraged me to buy the bike 'if it makes you happy'. So I now have 6 bikes!
It is a nostalgic buy as my 2nd new Honda was a CB500Four K1 in August 71
Prepare yourselves for a lot of advice!
Love my misus to bits!!!!!
Current Bikes:-
Honda CB750K2 (1975)
Honda CB500K2 (12/1972)
Honda CR750 Replica (1972)
Honda CB350K0 (1969)
Kawasaki ZZR1100D3 (1995)
Kawasaki ZZR250 (1990) Project (Going on eBay ASAP)

As long as its a 500Four Julie, it will do me! My 750 isn't to the letter of K2 but is close enough for me. I will no doubt find out its deficiencies via the forum over the next few years - and it was only 4 pints - I'm a light weight!

You should stick to two pints Phil. Has a few K2 parts on that, like the clocks and ears  ;)

It's great that you are re living, or still living, your youth Phil. No point in just reminiscing and doing nowt about it, that's just boring and is no fun at all.
