CB350F/400F brake pads.
« on: October 06, 2019, 10:34:55 AM »
I now have three sets of front brake pads (all different makes) for the 350F and non fit as standard. The problem is they don't go into the caliper without first filing the paint off. Now this is okay short term but they are going to rust into place at some point even though I have Copper-slipped them. Anyone know of a good make that fits without removing the paint. I assume this caliper is fairly universal across the CB range. Cheers.

IIRC Roy, I have had to remove the paint on all the different brands / makes of pads I have fitted Roy and then apply the copper slip.

Thanks Julie. How is that standing up to the ravages of time and british weather? That's what I have done with mine but I was only intending it to be a short term fix.

They seem to be doing well Roy, no adverse issues to report so far.
