Hi AshThere’s lots of nice looking restored bikes and decent project bikes on there.Just out of interest, has anyone on the forum ever bought direct from auction in the USA and if so did they find the experience straightforward and cost effective? 🤔
The two 450s are very nice, in my opinion the CL would look a lot better for a new set of cables, my original grey ones had gone that dirty rust colour, too. They aren't easy to find though, particularly the front brake cable with built in stop light switch. What the hell is it with CL450's and fork caps? This time the offside one is the wrong way round, the second one this month. If it wasn't for the unimpeachable advice I got on this board I'd start to wonder if it was me doing it wrong.I like the S90, so much better looking in 'sports' trim without the Cub footboard / fairing thing. By the way, it reminds me, back in the late 70's a friend of mine had a Honda 50cc CR110 race bike, a little silver jewel of a thing, worth relatively little at the time, as it was uncompetitive with modern bikes and before Classic racing really became a thing. With gear driven twin cams, 8 speed box and 4 valves, it would no doubt be worth a fortune now. I think you could just buy them from a dealer and go club racing. Mecum have a CR93 roadster, the super rare road going version of the 125cc production racer. https://www.mecum.com/lots/LV0120-392727/1963-honda-cr-93/
