The Welsh national rally on 2nd May has been postponed till the 2nd October.

My ride today is cancelled.

Off for a walk instead.

4 months of rubbish weather. Now
sunny

And  told not to ride in it

I'm sure nobody will bother about a lone biker riding country lanes. Safe distancing gone mad. Just don't stop for a brew and keep you helmet on.

You can ride the bike if you are going for essentials and nobody specified which shop or route.
My stepson got the nhs txt telling him to hide in his bedroom for 12 weeks, i have to go out for my monthly meds and my wifes now

It will be interesting to see what the fine levels are set at. There are some very big ones in the rest of Euope.

If your riding do it alone and stay away from groups. More than two and your off to the Siberian mines.

Same round here now John, things have moved on since the 24th March. I'm just shuttling bikes around between home and my lockup about half a mile away, that's the only ride I can manage now. Plod just handed out hefty fines to two bikers on a local stretch of the A6 saying they were warned yesterday but won't learn the lesson. Plod said they were using the now empty roads as a racetrack.

I have just received an email from the organiser of this event.
I have copied it FYI.

Dear all,
I hope everyone is safe and well.
As you know Covid-19 has caused havoc to our health and events nationwide but despite the odds being stacked against us, I remain hopeful for the CMD and our sanity.
We are getting closer to the end of this essential lockdown in the UK and hopefully the government will soon start to open up the country.
Putting politics to one side, I trust the government to do the right thing at the right time.
Although social gatherings are currently frowned upon, ours event is an open air event, so there is a slim chance it could be allowed. I remain optimistic but I am also realistic.
As soon as the Tramway Village make a decision about this years Classic Motorcycle Day, I will inform you as soon as we know.
Financially the Tramway, like everyone else, will be taking a big hit, but lets hope it all ends soon
Speak soon and keep everything crossed folks
Regards

Ramsey Sprint is also cancelled .. my mate always sprints his CB500K1 every year so he's gutted. It's an ex-DK 3k miler

James H if you read this the drilled front disc is from the 500K0 I got from you ... we did a swap. The rider is my mates mate Bob who at one time owned the 1st official UK CB750 (now owned by a member on here) .. he bought it as a ride-to-work hack when his Commando was bust in the 80's IIRC.
