Testing the charge output

Thanks a million for the help, when I bought this bike I got a whole other one as spares, engine seized"", but looking at it now and with the information you guys have given I think the engine on the other bike looks more like the original but cant read the number any Way of brining it up???   This is getting more like a monster bike every day. if I ever get it all back to original I will owe you guys a lot.

Possibly clean the area and use  pencil rubbing,

THE original engine would have had a number higher than the frame by a few hundred, but not the same as the frame
