“Very rare - where will you find another example of this Iconic 70's superbike.”

I can think of a few.

Maybe he means “very rare in this condition and I’m not going to pay for someone to take it away”.

That would be a challenge.   Poor bike :-(
Now where did I put that 10mm socket?

'Cash on collection' I hope he can give me the 1p change I'd be expecting!
Does someone have Henry Cole's number, he'll buy it for his next series.

("for parts or not working")

I would be pleasantly surprised if more than 1 to 2% of whats there is re-useable. More of a "ditch" find than a barn find.
Agreed Henry Cole would love it, "just a bit of polishing and the usual and predictable haggle and it will sell".

Anyone want to lay bets on whether the engine would even turn over?

It will only cost £25k to restore it to as new :)

well, it is MOT exempt, so a new battery, blow up the tyres......

Certainly is rare, never seen anything like it!

Should be fine.... I mean....he put rags in the inlets to stop dust getting in.....

Would make a good project for the shorter rider, as the collapsed frame puts the seat closer to the ground.

But....now correct me if I am wrong here....but aren't 'Barn Finds' supposed to actually be IN the barn?

Of course....I had to watch the item. Just out of morbid curiosity, would anyone REALLY buy iron oxide in the shape of a Honda?

I'm watching now too, curious to know if anyone will pay to take away scrap.  Why doesn't he just dig a hole, it's almost completely returned to the earth already.  The frame number is hilarious, it looks like it's only paint.

Now that’s what I call patina - Canal find was it?

A bit of T-Cut needed, but good luck unseizing the engine and brakes, let alone taking it apart.

Leave it on the end of your drive, mate, the pikeys’ll take it soon enough, it worked for my old washing machine and my flat packed corrugated iron garage.

Doesn’t push, bring something to manhandle it.

Dustpan and brush springs to mind.

Someone has bid 99p, I hope they aren't spending much on fuel to come and get it.

Even if it was free, I can't see a single part I'd use again. Still, fences don't all prop themselves up, you know, or maybe someone has a hole to fill.
