Tank badge removal
« on: June 30, 2020, 07:30:30 AM »
I’m thinking on painting my tank on my 750 f I haven’t had a good look at the badges but has anyone got any pointers before I try? Got a feeling they will be pretty stuck.

Not sure about the 750 but on my 350 there are two pins on the back of the badge which fit into spring clips in a bracket on the tank.

I used nylon fishing line slid behind the badge to ease it out of the clips.

yup...spring clip fasteners.

I bought a set a few weeks back when I was getting some other odds and ends from DSS....seems like it was a good job I did!
