Wow looks great! I really do like that model...with the black tank, black engine, comstars, twin horns...the whole look is great 👍

Nice looking bike Bob.  I've always had a soft spot for the 750 F2, it was my first introduction to 'big bike' riding in 1978.
Now where did I put that 10mm socket?

Welcome along Bob.
Lovely looking bike, do you know its history and did you buy it trade or private?
I think Honda nailed it with the looks and performance of the F2 and especially considering they were lagging behind Kawasaki and Suzuki withe their DOHC's.
Good luck with it, I'm sure it goes as good as it looks.

Has anyone faced issues insuring these because i found that most places class this as a 1978 748cc not 736cc its becoming a pain to find an insurer who recognises it as 736cc

Yes, it can be a pain. Our 750/4s come up at a Honda Shadow VT or something like that. We have 750's insured with Carol Nash, Swinton and Hastings Direct but you need to phone them and they adjust it on their system.

Yup, insist forcibly its a 736 SINGLE overhead cam four not a double cam or a twin.
Late F2 and early CB 750 DOHC  cross over

I'm pleased you got it sorted Bob. I always phone insurance companies (after getting an on line quote or renewal notices), I find the premiums go down dramatically when you can actually discuss what you really want and need and not just agree to what the computer tells you you want and need 😁😁😁😁
