Being married has many advantages and one is the access to an old pair of tights. I used them to cover the open bell mouths on carbs to prevent stones and small children being sucked in. Not easy for a old fashion, non metro sexual bloke to walk into a shop to buy women's tights 
About 15 yeras ago I used to use a pair of my wifes tights as a filter when I put old chip oil in my Sierra 2.3 Diesel estate. That was until the Frying Sqaud caught up with me.
