CB750K3 is home.
« on: September 18, 2020, 01:51:34 PM »
Latest project (get ready for lockdown 2). Already identified some horrors although to be fair I knew by the photos that this bike was needing a lot of attention. Any help or comments welcome. Skip Hire! 😂😂😂

See silicon sealant on head oil leak! What a good idea! Saves on spending on gaskets and seals.😂 clutch stuck, throttle stuck, Caliper stuck, good chance looking at wiring this loom will be fried, maybe not will strip off tape and see sometime in the future. The initial plan will be to get it running to assess the condition of engine.

Looks good to me. Drill the top yoke and get a few cable ties round there, and it will be good to go. I mean...it's still held on the other side ( isn't it???? )

Wiring loom needs a coule more twists to get it right, and a big wad of gaffa tape on top to hide it. I mean...easy to trace wiring problems when all the inner is exposed innit. Just watch for sparks!

Still....at least it's not rusty ;)

That should keep you off the streets and away from the nasty virus for quite some time.

Don’t think this is supposed to swivel?
It has been there 47 years! The leads are all very poor condition.

Some very sad looking butchery, as far as I can see to accommodate some longer non standard hand grips.

Yes Dennis I agree! If the internals and wiring is ok I will consider repairing as I would be painting anyway.
